Happy Friday! I have two exciting treats for those who enjoy wild animals and travel! I've been hard at work with a couple of new YouTube videos. The first is from my Rwandan safari last September that I put off. I finally hunkered down and got it published a couple of days ago. It's a fun two-day recap. Then, today, I just released 11 minutes of highlights from Alaska with brown bears. It's some of the best footage I've shot, and I'm super stoked with how it turned out. I'm back from 12 days in Alaska and slowly trying to remember how to live life in the Lower 48, where I can't look out my window and see 7 bears in a meadow. But my gosh, my time in Alaska reminded me how special the state is and how much natural beauty is out there that hasn't been touched by overdevelopment and commercialization. We just got back from 8 days in Belize, and I've never been in such a hot and humid environment. The jungle of Belize is no joke, and without AC in 93F +80% humidity, the sweating never ended! But it was a wonderful trip - split between jungle and ocean. Overall, a fantastic time experiencing a new culture, seeing the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, and learning about Mayan history. I'll have more on the trip in the next newsletter. For now, I head out on a work trip to the Oregon Coast...
