Happy Holidays! One of my favorite traditions is making my scenic calendar. Since 2018, I've compiled my adventures into an annual calendar highlighting stunning locations across the country and beyond. This year is no different - and I actually think it's one of the best calendars I've produced. If you're looking to give a great gift or need a calendar to help plan your trips and get inspired, I would be honored if you chose mine. If you plan to give it as a gift, Wednesday, December 18th is the hard cut-off, as I'm unsure how quickly mail will arrive after that. Please note this on the Google form, as I'll be prioritizing those.

There's a lot of new folks here. If you're one of them, getting this for the first or second time, welcome! I'm grateful to have you here. As you've probably noticed, newsletters have been slower this summer. I've been out hiking in the Rockies, spent 5 days on the Oregon Coast (more below), and spent 9 days in Belize as a second honeymoon. When the weather is this good, I prefer to be in nature vs typing away at a computer. Buuut, I wanted to give a little update of where I've been and...
We just got back from 8 days in Belize, and I've never been in such a hot and humid environment. The jungle of Belize is no joke, and without AC in 93F +80% humidity, the sweating never ended! But it was a wonderful trip - split between jungle and ocean. Overall, a fantastic time experiencing a new culture, seeing the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, and learning about Mayan history. I'll have more on the trip in the next newsletter. For now, I head out on a work trip to the Oregon Coast...
Happy Friday! Jaimie and I are headed camping on the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park this weekend. It'll be our first time in the Grand Lake/Grandby region. Unfortunately, the main hiking trails off Trail Ridge Road are still inaccessible because the road is closed, but we'll make the best of it. Jaime's worked 12 straight days in the hospital, so it'll be a nice chance to unwind and enjoy fresh mountain air. Plus, we haven't car camped in 18 months, so it's much needed!...
