EEEK! Well, here goes nothing! I'm hosting a group trip next June 2026 in the Canadian Rockies! Ever since I first visited Canada in 2017, it has been at the very top of my adventure list. Glaciers. Stunning Lakes. Jagged Peaks. It's all incredible, and I want to help you see it, too. But not just see it. Experience it. Touch a glacier. Get soaked while rafting. Immerse yourself in the greatest mountain range. See bucketlist locations. So, who is this trip for? Anyone! But it's probably the most geared towards people who want to hike and travel, but might not have a group to go with or may not enjoy planning. Luckily, this trip covers all the bases! Everything is planned, and meals are covered. (Flights to and from Calgary ARE NOT.)
Let's dive into all the trip details: Who is managing this trip? TrovaTrip. They arrange for a professional guide to set everything up. I'm considered the 'Host.' When does this trip go live? August 3rd, 12pm ET/10am MT/9am PT Who is this for? Any age over 18. Any Gender. Groups or Solo Travelers. All are welcome! Those who enjoy fun times and beautiful places. Cost: Early Bird Pricing is $2,350, Regular Pricing is $2,550 (you can pay in segments, so you don't have to do a lump sum if you do not wish to) When do you have to book? The sooner the better. The first 14 people to sign up get early bird pricing. But the other caveat is that if I don't get two sign-ups within two weeks, the trip doesn't happen. So, if you're interested, sign up ASAP! Dates: Jun 15, 2026 - June 21, 2026 (Day 1 is a travel/pickup day, and so is Day 7. So, five full days of adventure.) Activities: Moderate to Hard Hiking, Glacier Walk, Camping, Rafting, Visit downtown Banff, Cable Car Ride This is the Sentinel Pass and Larch Valley hike. | This is Incline Summit in Yoho | This is similar to the Glacier Walk Will you teach us photography? While this is not a specific photography trip, I'm more than happy to work wth anyone on their photo skills both on the trail and at camp. Why this is a rad trip:
Want to hang out with these views?! Feel free to ask me any questions, and I hope to see you on the trip. Remember, the first 14 slots get early bird pricing. After that, you'll pay an extra $200. PS: Don't think you can make this trip, but are interested in joining a future group trip elsewhere? Click here to let me know where you want to go, what months you're free, and your budget. This is just a survey. |

Happy Friday! Been a little quiet over here as not much is going on. I'm battling through a hurt hip flexor/groin that has basically kept me from hiking since the end of July. But some exciting adventures are coming up that I cannot wait to share with you all! The biggest is a trip to Rwanda, which kicks off in 11 days, for 11 days. Keep an eye out for my newsletter later in September, and you can follow along on social media as we venture across the small African country, seeing gorillas,...
Last week, I experienced my first-ever Fjallraven Annual Classic! Let’s just say it was nothing short of incredible! Over three days and 30 miles, I got to trek amidst the majestic Colorado Rockies, learn more about why Fjallraven puts on their Annual Classics (globally), and meet some rad individuals. For someone who just moved to Denver and was looking to build a new community and see nature out here, it was the perfect opportunity for me! If you’re interested in backpacking but haven’t...
Long time no chat, y'all! I hope summer is treating you well. Jaimie and I recently moved from Seattle to Denver, where she'll start her fellowship program at the children's hospital. It was a LOOOOONG three days of driving, but we did it safely. Now, we're all unboxed (thanks to my parents' help) and trying to move the final random boxes into their new homes. For me, I'm excited to explore a new region of the country, but at the same time, very sad to leave Seattle. The mountains up there...
